After last year’s sold out show that remains one of our highlights of 2012, we’re welcoming one of Berlin’s most admired House and Disco devotees back down into the bear pit.
A one-time resident of Berlin’s infamous Panorama Bar (Having mixed ‘Panorama Bar 03’ for Ostgut Ton), Prosumer is renowned for championing the emotive sounds of early nineties deep house and stylistically shining through in a city that so often produces imitations.
He may be best known for his stand-out DJ sets, but his productions hold just as much weight with solo and collaborative releases on Ostgut Ton, Playhouse and Running Back, along with remixes for Mount Kimbie, Mock & Toof and more.
Good Friday Eve is always a huge night, so purchasing tickets is highly recommended.
Plenty of new music coming out from the Animals Dancing crew.
First up, Tornado Wallace with his new release “Thinking Allowed” on Love Fingers ESP Institute. This hit number one on the Juno charts and is currently out of stock, but you can grab a copy direct from the ESP website.
Very excited to welcome Linkwood back to the country this March, and even more excited to have him play at our party this time.
Though he remains quieter than most in the electronic music world, a quick review of Linkwood’s brief discography reveals an unmistakable influence on the current house music climate. After dropping very well received releases on labels such as Prime Numbers and Firecracker’s sister imprint Shevchenko since his last Australian visit in 2010, 2013 will see a new album, which is a follow up to his widely acclaimed 2009 album ‘System’.
His remix for Tornado Wallace’s 2010 single ‘Paddlin’ was Lewie’s dads favourite track on the EP, beating his own sons tracks to the post.
Support from Animals Dancing DJ’s (Andee Frost, Tornado Wallace & Otologic).
